An Interview With Meelah

You’ve done lots of modelling already for brands like Country Road. What do you like most about being on set?
My favourite part of being on set is definitely meeting new people and discovering their personalities. I’ve made so many new friends on set, and it always makes the shoots way more fun.

What is your favourite part of a photoshoot — the clothes, being in front of the camera, or meeting new people?
Being in front of the camera and meeting new people. Sometimes the outfits are not really my style or a vibe. On a recent shoot I was wearing a ninja outfit with ballet shoes #embarrassing

Sometimes photoshoots can take a while. What do you do if you start to get bored on set?
That’s easy, I talk to whoever is around, and my favourite thing to do — eat.

You’ve worked with me three times now! What do you think of me as a photographer, and which shoot we’ve done together has been your favourite?
Hands down, our most recent shoot has been my fav. I think you are super inspirational as a person, very creative and so kind.

Do you ever make friends with the other kids on photoshoots? What’s the best part about meeting other models?
All the time, it just makes the shoots and days more fun.

When you’re not modelling, what do you like to do for fun?
I play lots of sports. I play touch football, netball, Physie, and I am currently in a musical. Otherwise I love to bake and cook and hang out with my besties.
