AMIE DONALD X BLOOM

Our shoot with well-known Kiwi actress Amie Donald took place in Auckland, bringing together a small creative team for an editorial that was later featured on the back cover of BLOOM Magazine, based in Rome, Italy. Amie is a New Zealand actress and dancer who gained international recognition as the physical performer behind the title character in the 2022 horror film M3GAN. With a background in competitive dance and multiple international competitions representing New Zealand, she brings a unique physicality and presence to her work on screen.

The shoot was creatively directed by Rachel Feast, with styling also handled by Rachel Feast and assisted by Catie Levell. Hair and makeup were done by Isabelle Finley Reid, creating a polished look that complemented the overall direction of the shoot. Photographed in Auckland, the images focused on capturing Amie’s confident presence and movement, blending fashion and performance in a way that felt both editorial and cinematic.
